I needed a rugged and heavy duty extension cord. This material fit both needs well beyond my expectations.
The jacket material is thick and strong. It required some pretty serious effort to cut it so that the inner wires could be inserted into the end fixtures. The interior contains a powder that appears to inhibit internal friction and allows the jacket to slide off easily in one piece.
The insulation on the inner wires is also quite tough, but very flexible.
The wire itself is easy to twist and maintains its shape well allowing it to be inserted into the fixtures.
This cable did not contain any paper or fiber inside the jacket. I consider this to be a plus.
I truly doubt that I will ever need to replace this cord.
I am extremely pleased with the cable and with the speed that it arrived after the order.
I can offer a very positive recommendation for both the cable and the vendor.

SO Cable

As a former cable executive involved in the diving industry I saw hundreds of thousands of feet of SO used over 40 years. Hence my choice for a rugged safe temporary connection over ground potentially oil covered and wet. Neoprene is a very forgiving material. Flexible yet extremely I’ve and oil resistant. I can’t recall any manufacturing defects or non operational issues. It’s the very best for my application. For a normal application for example it’s s perfect RV or boat shore line and will last many years.
