The 2 dlo cable is a highly flexible power cable that supplies electric current to any machine in which the prime mover is a an engine that runs on diesel. It is often utilized in the mining and industrial environments. The dlo cable comes at a minimum length of 10 feet and at a maximum of 1000 feet. Weighing only 268 Lbs per 1000 feet, this versatile cable comes with only one 1 conductor and has a size of 2 AWG. After the conductor is an EPDM insulation and a CPE jacket all aimed at ensuring the cable performs optimally in both wet and dry environments.

This power cable has one conductor. The conductor is made of fully annealed stranded tinned copper. This standard is in line with the AAR -598 and ASTM B 38. The size of the conductor is 2 WG but is versatile enough to operate between 8 AWG and 777 MCM. This rating enables the 2 dlo cable to be used in a wide range of areas and thus saving you from repeat purchases. It can supply up to 600 volts of power and is a 190 amps cable.
The conductor stranding stands at 161/24 making it very easy to fit into a circuit duct. It is very easy to carry the cable around during the process of installation as it weighs only 268 Lbs per 1000 feet. The cable is also very flexible to cut and bend because the tinned copper has been taken through the annealing process. This process makes the cable soft. Dealing with a rigid conductor often makes the installation and termination processes tedious.
The insulation of the 2 dlo cable is made of premium grade Ethylene Propylene (EP) and it comes right after the conductor. Its sole purpose is to protect the cable from all manner of impacts and damages. The EP, a rubber, has outstanding properties such as the ability to be resistant to oil, water, UV rays, sunlight, alkalis and chemicals. The Ethylene Propylene rubber is not only safe guards the conductor but also the end user from being electrocuted and also from short circuiting.
The jacket of this versatile cable is black for easy identification. Made with a Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE), it has been uniquely formulated to operate in both wet and dry locations for continuous exposure. The jacket protects both the conductor and the insulation from physical and chemical damages. It is resistant to oil, water, sunlight, UV rays, abrasion, alkalis and acids.
This enables the cable to perform even in the harshest of environments without deteriorating or having its performance affected. As the environments in which the cable operates in is rough, the jacket of the 2 dlo cable paired up with the Ethylene propylene (EP) insulation protect the cable from all manner of impacts. The surface of the CPE jacket is flexible but sturdy enough to withstand any form of roughness. This is huge factor in ensuring the cable performs without interference for a long period of time.
