20/10 Stranded Tray Cable
This is a Tray cable used widely control systems especially in the substations for power transmission and distribution. Stranded cables are spectacular in many ways but the main one is the top flexibility making installation very convenient.
It is constructed using copper conductor. The conductor is significantly stranded, though also bare making this cable so well. The design is in satisfaction with ASTM B-3 and B-8. It is constructed in varied sizes from 14 AWG to 10 AWG.
Since the cable is highly flexible, its insulation is also flexible. The HMW Polyethylene serves as its insulation system, and is water tight. This insulation acts as a shock absorber, protecting the conductors from mechanical breakages. The polyethylene material is light weight.
The jacket which is made of Polyvinyl Chloride gives the overall protection against the external environment effects like sunlight and flames.
