Tray Control Cable EPR/CPE 600V
Tray Control Cable is a type of Instrumentation Cable that is designed to help in power distributions for voltages not exceeding 600 volts. It has three copper conductors andagrounding wire, all of which are individually insulated with a flame retardant EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber). The cable is jacketed with a tough Chlorinated Polyethylene for maximum protection. This Instrumentation Cable is black color coded and has numbers for easy identification.
Tray Control Cable measures 6 AWG (American Wire Gauge) and ten feet long. The conductors are made of tinned and stranded copper wires in accordance to the ASTM B33 and B8. Tinning is the process of coating the copper conductors with a thin layer of tin metal. It helps in improving the chemical protection of the cable from corrosive industrial chemicals. Tinned conductors are also smooth and thus friction resistant. Stranding of the conductors enhances flexibility of the Instrumentation Cables.
