THE 10/4 SEOOW CABLE
The 10/4 SEOOW portable cable is known for the following technical specifications which gives it its special features. These specifications include; it has 4 conductors, jacket thickness of 0.095 inches, nominal insulation thickness of 0.045 inches, size of 10 AWG, has a outside diameter of 0.715 inches, weight of 301 (Lbs) and allowable current of 25 Amps. This type of cable has the following features that identify it from other cables. They have conductors that are color coded to enable them to be identified easily, they are fully recyclable and non-hazardous for environmental landfills disposal, they are flexible and they have a tough neoprene jacket, they operate on temperature extremes of between -50 degree centigrade to 105 degree centigrade., they are lightweight, easy to carry ,long lasting as well easy to handle, they are non-wicking, lightweight polypropylene fillers and they have an excellent abrasion, oil resistant, sunlight and ozone. The cables are contracted using thermoplastic TPE insulation elastomeric which contains chemical resistance characterized of PVC and flexible properties of rubber which makes them to be highly flexible and they have a jacket which is made up of black thermoplastic elastometer (TPE)

With high water resistance the cable can be used I both robotic and industrial systems, this is simply because with the high resistance, there is prevention of water from contacting with the conductor which ensures much needed safety in controls of those systems are completely expelled.
This cable is also used in outdoor applications and suitable approved for submersion in water because of their water resistance and high dielectric insulation properties. The ampacities of this cable are normally listed by the manufacturer and are provided for engineering information which recommends the use of this ampacity to exact applications as approved from the authority having local jurisdiction. This cable has an industrial approvement by federal and military use under federal specifications, JC-580B, UL Listed SEOOW 600V and SJE 00W 300V to NEC Article 400. It also has features that enables it to be categorized as class 36 Thermoplastic Elastometer, very good flexibility, UL Listed and CSA certified for indoor and outdoor use(18-10AWG), UL Flexible Cord Subject 62, CSA certified, MSHA approval for flame resistance for mining operations.
