Product Information

Specification

16/4 Triad TOS EPR/CPE

Applications:

Tray instrumentation control electrical cables are designed to distribute the power in cable trays, conduits, aerials, and raceways.

They are used in industrial and utility applications for power and signal transmission. Typical applications include connections between industrial tools, heating engines, and wiring motors. The electrical cables are used in oil rig facilities, heating plants, heavy load motors, fire alarms, and power limiting circuits. The cables are resistant to oil and sunlight and are perfect for both wet and dry applications. The voltage rating is 300 volts, meaning that the cable is designed for low-voltage applications. The temperature range of the instrumentation cables is -30°C to 90°C. The cable is color-coded in Black/White/Red, and has an alpha-numeric print.

 Also Known As:

16/4 Cable Tray, 16/4 Cable Tray Types, 16/4 Electrical Cable Tray, 16/4 Pvc Cable Tray, 16/4 wire cable tray, 16/4 cable tray wire, 16/4 TC-ER cable, 16/4 EPR Cable, 16/4 CPE Cable, 16/4 Tray Control Cable, 16/4 Tray Control Instrumentation Cable, 16/4 Multi-Conductor Tray Cable, 16/4 TOS Cable, 16/4 low-voltage tray cable.

Standards:

  • • Underwriters Laboratory (UL) 13 type PLTC
  • • IEEE 383 flame test
  • • ASTM B3 and ASTM B8
  • • NEC Article 336

Conductor:

A stranded bare copper conductor with excellent conductivity per ASTM B-8 and B-3. The conductors are highly flexible. Stranding makes the conductor thicker, thus lowering the resistance of the conductor.

Insulation:

EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) insulation has high dielectric strength and excellent resistance to ozone, abrasion, chemicals, mechanical damage, moisture, and weather.

Jacket:

A chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) jacket is durable and resistant to flames and chemicals.

Shielding:

Overall aluminum or polyester foil shield protects the cable from damages and helps to identify the cable.

Specification:

  • • Gauge: 16
  • • No. Conductors: 4
  • • Stranding: 7/0.0152
  • • Insulation Wall, Nom OD Inches: 0.030""
  • • O.D. Inches: 0.752""
