Alpha Wire 30V Braid PVC Jacket 1 Coax Manhattan Electrical Coaxial Cable
Alpha wire 30V cable is meant for light applications that require less current. Nevertheless this is a tough cable that is meant for harsh environments. This cable can operate in temperatures up to 2000C. The cable it is available in various lengths which is from 100ft up to 2000ft, some of the length options are boxed.
The conductors are made of copper or silver plated steel wire. They are stranded which increases the flexibility of the cable; this enables the cable to maneuver through constricted areas without causing wire breakage. The plating reduces the possibility of damage caused by moisture.
It has polyethylene insulation. This is a critical part in any electrical cable, since it protects the users from electric shock. This is because the insulation is made of plastic or rubber which is poor conductors of electricity and heat.
The shield is made of braided copper wire. It is tough and protects the cable from external damage caused by electromagnetic interference, mechanical impact, abrasion, corrosion, moisture and radiation.
An overall PVC jacket covers the whole cable construction. PVC is an insulating material that is tough and can withstand any abuse it is subjected to. It is resistant to weather, sunlight, abrasion, acids, chemicals and impact
