Aluminum 2KV Photovoltaic Cable Utility Wire
The photovoltaic cable plays a big role in solar applications. This cable has a wide temperature range with a cold bend of -40 degrees and 90 degrees in hot temperatures. The cable is made of 8000 series of Aluminum conductors and insulated with a cross linked polyethylene which is black colour coded, this ensures easy identification of the cable.
Standards and Approvals
The compacted and compressed 800 series Aluminum have good thermal and electrical conductivity, improving the cable’s performance. These conductors are also soft and flexible thus not labour demanding especially during installation. The conductor also has a long flex life. The conductor is also light hence easy to use and move around.
The cross linked polyethylene insulation improves the service life of the cable. XLP is abrasive resistive, heat resistant, corrosive chemicals resistance; moisture and sunlight resistant making the cable withstand the punishing outdoor conditions. It is colour coded for easy identification. This layer is also non-conducting and keeps the user safe from shocks.
