Price (Per FT.)
Aluminum Covered Line Wire is designed for use on overhead secondary distribution lines. Covered Line Wire is not an electrically insulated conductor and is treated as a bare conductor when installed. The insulation provides protection against circuit interruption due to weather.
Aluminum Covered Line Wire has a concentric strand 1350-H19, 6201 – T81 or ACSR series aluminum conductor.
Aluminum Covered Line Wire has a black high density polyethylene HDPE or cross-linked polyethylene XLP insulation.
Aluminum Covered Line Wire Utility Wire
The Covered Line Utility Cable is not electrically insulated conductor and is treated as bare conductor when installed. It is insulated with either the cross linked polyethylene (XLP) or the high density polyethylene (HDPE).
Standards and Approvals
Electrical cables should have these certifications from international standards and agencies. They assure the consumer that the product is genuine. The Aluminum covered line utility wire has the following approvals;
This cable has a concentric stranded 1350-H19, 6201 – T81 or the ACSR Aluminum series. The strands enhance the flex life of the cable and its ability to carry more current. Aluminum has good sagging and electrical carrying capacity, which affirms its good power transmission over long distances.
Covered Line Utility Cable is insulated by a high density polyethylene or the cross linked polyethylene for safety. HDPE Insulation offers protection from circuit interruption which may be caused by the punishing environmental conditions. The HDPE insulation ensures protect from hazards such as shock. It’s also resistant to ozone, chemicals, industrial solvents, radiation, abrasion, impact and moisture.
The Covered Line Wire is designed for overhead installations in secondary power distribution lines. It can also be used as a power cable in various industrial applications.
