The cable is made up of a single copper conductor. It is soft and annealed, making it good for installation in miniature solar energy generation circuits.Copper conductor used is tinned to protect it from corrosion. Two types of copper conductors are used; compressed and stranded copper. Made with varying range of sizes from 14 AWG to 2AWG, the conductors are class C and class B stranded according to ASTM B33 and ASTM B8. This cable is rated at 2000V.
This single conductor cable is designed with sunlight resistant insulation appropriating it for even for direct burial applications. The lead-free ethylene Propylene Rubber is used as the insulation material. This material is colored to contrast the jacket, it is strong and versatile to secure the cable conductor.
