Lead Wire EPDM Rubber UL 3374/3340 Tinned Copper Wire
Lead Tinned Copper Wire is a power distribution cable which is made to serve power voltages not exceeding 600 volts. It is a dual serving cable which is meant to perform in both wet and dry locations. This Thermocouple Wire has a flexing and non-flexing temperature rating at 1250C and 1500C respectively.
The cable is designed with stranded and tinned copper conductor which improves its performance and service life. Copper conductors are stranded for flexibility. Tinning is the process of coating the copper conductors with a thin film of tin through the process of electrolysis, whereby an electric current is passed through the electrolyte. It prevents oxidation of the conductors by the corrosive industrial chemicals. Tinning reduces friction build ups because it smoothen the surface of the conductors.
Lead Wire EPDM Cable is tested and approved to meet the requirement of Underwriters Laboratory (UL) 758 – Styles 3340/3374. This is the legitimacy test which shows that the cable is a high quality and ready to serve its intended purpose.
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer is moisture resistant and ensures that the conductors are kept dry. It separates the live conductors from the neutral conductors. EPDM is flexible and lightweight.
