Details

Applications:

Type TPS cables are designed for use on non U.S. Navy commercial marine vessels. The cables may be used on work boats, tugs, fishing boats, casino boats, and other commercial vessels in addition to certain oil rig applications. These cables should be used for signal transmission where twisted groups of conductors are designed. Individual or overall group shielding may be provided by means of a tape and drain (ground) wire or a tinned copper braid, or a combination of both to prevent electrostatic and/or electromagnetic interference. Suitable for installation in trays, troughs, channels, conduit, and wireways. Finished cables pass the IEEE-383 and IEEE Standard 1202 flammability test.
