Triplex Marine Cable Ul 1426 Tinned Copper Wire
UL Listed, multi-conductor tinned wire with white jacket is ideal for use in the high corrosive environment of marine applications. Special electro-tinned, copper strands also increase protection against corrosion for recreational vehicles, automotive, trucks, and trailers. Tinned copper stranding is extremely flexible for easy routing through marine applications and easier to solder than bare copper. Flame retardant, PVC insulation is highly resistant to water, oil, grease, gasoline, and other damaging solvents. High voltage tolerance of up to 600 volts adds to versatility to its use in multiple marine and other suitable applications.
Meets DOT and Coast Guard specs for electrical systems

Triplex Marine Cable UL 1426 Tinned Copper Wire
The Triplex marine cable just as its name implies is mostly meant for marine applications. They can transmit current of up to 600 volts without over heating hence it has a high voltage tolerance capability. This cable is also versatile; versatility is the ability of the cable to be applied in other applications other than the purpose it is specifically designed for.
Triplex marine cable has an essentially tough design, since it’s mostly used in marine environments that are mostly known for punishing environments. It has 3 conductors that are made from tinned copper. The conductors are electro-tinned which offers maximum protection against corrosion more so in recreational vehicles. Conductors are tightly stranded together in a rope lay which enhances its flexibility and allows easy routing in marine applications. The insulation of the cable is made used polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
PVC is a tough material is a tough material considering it mainly protects the conductor from harm and also the cable handlers. It is highly resistant to gasoline, grease, oils, chemicals, impact, abrasion, weather and damaging solvents. It also has an external outer white jacket. The jacket mainly shields the insulation and is resistant to all forms of environmental hazards. The cable jacket is color coded for easy cable identification includes white, green and black.
Cables and wires are required to meet certain standards for them to be considered as genuine products. The triplex marine cable meets the following standards;
As hinted earlier in the article it is mostly meant for marine applications not exceeding 600 volts but it can also be used in other industrial applications due to its versatility. It mostly used in recreational vehicles, trucks, automotive and trailers.
