Alpha Wire Coaxial Braid 1 Coax 1700V Manhattan Electrical Coaxial Cable
Alpha wire 1700V cable is meant for heavy duty applications considering it has a higher voltage rating. It uses FEP dielectrics to reduce the capacitance, high velocities of propagation and tight tolerances for maximum signal transmission. It is available in different lengths majorly from 100ft up to 2000ft.
Its conductors are made of copper or silver plated steel wire. The plating prevents moisture from damaging the conductor through rusting. It also enhances its ability to carry more current. They are stranded which makes it easy to work with and install.
An insulator is a plastic or rubber material which does not conduct electricity and thermal energy. It is made of PTFE. This material is tough and is resistant to all forms of external forces that may cause damage to the cable.
It is made of braided copper wire. It protects the cable from external damage and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). The shield is mainly designed for cables that are used in harsh conditions.
The jacket is made of FEP. FEP is a strong material that is largely resistant to flames and harsh environments.
