Alpha Wire RG Type 50 Impedance Braid Shield PFA Insulation Micro Coaxial Cable

Alpha wire RG cable is a robust industrial cable that has a voltage rating of 30 Vrms. Electrical cables are generally categorized in to sizes. The alpha wire cable is placed in to the AWG sizes a standard used for naming wire gauges. Its size ranges from 32 AWG up to 50 AWG. The operating temperatures of the cable depends on the conductor type, but ranges between -700C up to 2000C for both wet and dry environments respectively.

Conductors:

The conductor is made of silver-plated copper alloy or tinned copper alloy. It is resistant to corrosion and moisture making it durable enough to last long a lifetime even in harsh environments. The conductor is also stranded to increase its flexibility and reliability in constricted areas.

Insulation:

It has PFA insulation. This material has some outstanding features since it’s affordable and it reduces the cable’s dielectric constant. It also ensures safety among uses hence it is unlikely to get electrocuted while using this cable.

Shield:

It is made of braided silver plated or tinned copper alloy. It is strong material and it is less prone to damage. The shield offers protection against impact and electromagnetic waves.

Jacket:

Most electrical cables require tough jackets that can withstand any form of physical abuse, given that it is the outermost layer. The jacket is made of PFA and it is white in color to allow easy identification of the cable. It is resistant to sunlight, moisture, weather, abrasion, impact, corrosion, chemicals and acids.
