Okoguard Okoseal Type MV-105 15kV Shielded Power Cable - 175 mils
This Multi-conductor cable measures 175 Mils. It is a medium voltage power distribution cable, which is designed with an operational voltage rating of 105V. Type MV-105 conductors are compacted with fillers and a binding tape. The cable is insulated, shielded and jacketed for maximum performance.
Stranded and compacted copper conductors measures ten feet long. Stranding enhances flexibility of this type of multi-conductor power cable. Flexible Type MV-105 cable is easier to install as compared to stiff and rigid cables. This is because flexible cables require little effort to fold and twist thus facilitating termination process during installation.

Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) is used to insulate this cable. A thermosetting compound that can withstand both wet and dry environmental conditions. EPR offers a superb chemical and mechanical protection for type MV-105 Shielded 175 Mils cable. This makes it withstand corrosive industrial chemicals such as chlorides, and resistance to abrasion, creep and any other deformations. The EPR insulation is also semiconducting and will not subject the user to electric shocks during installation or when handling the cable.
Polyvinyl Chloride jacketing is color coded and corrugated for maximum performance. PVC is a non-biodegradable compound and will not decompose easily even when subjected to direct burial. This improves durability of this cable. The low temperature Polyvinyl Chloride also offers protection from the punishing environmental conditions.
