Thistype MV-105 power cable is designed to help in power distributions in medium voltages that do not exceed 105 volts. This cable has three conductors with individual insulation. They are shielded with a braided copper for maximum performance. A grounding conductor is longitudinally bonded on the shielded conductors. The grounding conductors act as the neutral path. OkoguardOkoseal Type MV-105 cable is jacketed for chemical and mechanical protection. Assembly of this cable is assembled with a binder tape and fillers.
The conductors are made of compacted copper in accordance to ASTM B496 requirements. Copper is a good electrical conductor with low current resistance.

This type of Multi-conductor cable is insulated with Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR). The EPR is a thermosetting compound and thus can withstand extreme temperature conditions. It is semi-conducting and will not subject the user to electric shocks when handling it. Ethylene Propylene Rubber offers a superb chemical protection from the corrosive industrial chemicals, which would cause corrosion to Okoguard Type MV Power Cable. EPR is also tough enough to withstand abrasions.
This cable is shielded with 5 mil bare copper tape, which is helically applied. It offers 12.5% nominal overlap hence improving the electrical conductivity of the cable. Shielding provides an additional protection from direct mechanical attacks on Okoguard Power Cables.
This is the outer layer which is color coded for easy identification. It is made of the Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) which is mechanically rugged, and provides resistance to moisture and oil. PVC is also non-biodegradable and will not succumb to fungal attacks.
