Conductors are bonded together to assure easy separation, which facilitates installation, yet provides flexibility and mechanical protection.

Flat W/GRND THW/Submersible Pump Cable Copper 600v
The flat THW has a unique but tough design compared to the submersible pump cables, since it is constructed in flat but parallel manner. Just as its name implies, it has a voltage rating of 600 volts and can operate in temperatures of up to 750C. The cable is also resistant to harsh environments since submerged pumping applications are quite demanding.
It has a stranded soft annealed copper conductor as the electrolyte. The conductor is resistant to oil and grease. The conductors are bonded together to enable easy separation which makes installation easy. Each of the individual conductors is insulated by a tough PVC material. The insulation of each conductor is color coded to enable easy identification. The colors used are black, red, yellow and green which are used for the grounding conductor. The insulation has sequential footage markings to eliminate guess work during installation. Furthermore PVC insulation is resistant to abrasion, impact, weather, oils, acids and ozone. The cable however does not have an overall cable jacket in its design.
