Flat Yellow with Ground Submersible Pump Cable
This type of submersible pump cable is essentially meant for heavy duty applications. Furthermore it can operate in a wide range of temperatures which is -400C and 750C in both wet and dry environments respectively.
Electric current is transmitted through the conductor hence an efficient and reliable material is required; the material used is annealed stranded bare copper which meets this demand. It is reliable, efficient and flexible which makes it easy to work with.
The insulation used is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is strong material. The insulation protects the user from shock and others hazards that may be caused by electricity. The insulation also protects the conductor from external damage caused by impact, abrasion, oils, acids, sunlight and industrial chemicals.
It has a yellow flat cable jacket which is made from PVC. The cable jacket protects the inner components of the cable from damage. It is resistant to water, ozone and mechanical impact considering its operating environment. It also has sequential footage markings to help determine the correct measurement during installation.
