UL listed Type THW heavy duty flat submersible pump cable is a multi-purpose cable with parallel, individually insulated, color coded conductors, green ground insulated conductor and an overall jacket. Construction provides flexible copper stranding insulated with Type THW (PVC) compound. A tough PVC jacket, with a non-penetrating web, is easily stripped to facilitate installation yet provide optimum flexibility, mechanical protection and crush resistance.

Just as its name implies this cable is mostly used for heavy duty applications where the submersible pump is involved. It has an essentially tough and robust design. The applications however are not to exceed 600 volts. It performs very well in temperatures of 750C and below. The Heavy duty flat submersible pump cable offers amazing mechanical protection and crush resistance.
It has powerful conductors that are resistant to oils and grease. The conductors are made up of flexible stranded soft annealed copper. Copper has amazing electrical properties henceforth are the most preferred material for the conductor of this cable. The conductors are arranged in a parallel manner.
Each individual conductor is insulated by a PVC material. The insulation is color coded with the main colors being black, yellow, red and green which stand for the grounding conductor. The PVC insulation is relatively tough and is resistant to various environmental conditions.
It has an overall PVC jacket with a non-penetrating web. This allows easy stripping during installation but still enhances its flexibility. The PVC jacket is resistant to acids, oil, alkali, ozone, sunlight, abrasion and mechanical impact.
