Applications:

The mv90 copper cable is an electrical wire used for power circuits up to 2,400 Volts, where shields cannot be properly terminated and space is limited; in cable tray for 1/0 & larger; in applications such as chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, industrial plants, commercial buildings, utility substations, and generating stations. The maximum allowable temperature for this electrical cable is 90°C.

Construction

Conductors:

Class B stranded, annealed, bare copper per ASTM B-3 and B-8, strand shield is an extruded semiconducting compound per ICEA S-96-659 (NEMA WC71).

Insulation:

A strong and enduring ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) is used as the insulation system. The good thing about this insulation is how friendly it is to human hands since it is a rubber, a material that tends to be soft but guarantees profound and reliable safety wires. This insulation is also environmentally friendly, it doesn’t have some toxics which can cause harm to human, animals, and plants health.

Jacket:

The jacket of this ERP power cable is made of Thermoset Chlorinated Polyethylene (TS CPE).
