The double marking THHN /THWN-2 indicates that the wire is suitable for wet and dry conditions equally (The letter "W" means that it is water-safe). Additionally, the cable is resistant to corrosion, excessive dryness, and the impact of chemicals. It also performs well in cold bending. Conductors:

THHN THWN-2 conductors are constructed of annealed soft copper that follows ASTM B3 and ASTM B8 standards. When it comes to building wire, copper conductors are superior to aluminum because they remain stable for a longer time. The copper conductor is strong and flexible. As a rule, the cable has 3 or 4 conductors.

Insulation/Jacket:

The cable is insulated with a thermoset plastic jacket (PVC) that is flame-retardant, sunlight-resistant, lead-free, strong, and stable. Stranding:
